Packing tips for a stress-free move: efficient, safe and cost-saving (part 2)

You look at all your things and can't imagine having to pack everything up and then sort it all out again when you move. Don't worry, it's not as difficult as it looks at first glance! With the packing tips from UTS, you'll be able to do it quickly and efficiently:

1. Small parts management: keep screws and small parts in labeled bags and stick them to the appropriate pieces of furniture to make reassembly easier.
2. Photograph cables: Before unplugging, photograph the back of the appliances and tie the cables to the relevant appliance to avoid confusion when plugging them in.
3. Mark moving boxes in color: Mark boxes with colored tape for each room. This helps to quickly move the boxes to the right rooms in the new home.
4. Pack the starter box: Pack important items for the first few days, such as toiletry bag, clothes, towels and documents, in a special box and transport them separately. This box should be loaded into your own vehicle so that it is immediately ready to hand.
5. Clearing out before the move: Sort out and dispose of unnecessary items before the move to reduce the amount of things you need to transport and save space in your new home.
