Packing tips for a stress-free move: efficient, safe and cost-saving (Part 1)

The move is imminent and preparations are in full swing. One of the most important tasks is packing the household goods correctly. As an experienced removal company, UTS shares valuable tips to make the move easier, avoid damage and save costs:

  1. Packing dishes with towels: Use towels as filling material for crockery. This saves packing paper and space and reduces the risk of breakage. Plates should be packed vertically.
  2. Seal bottles with foil: Cover containers with liquids with cling film and screw them shut to prevent leakage.
  3. Wrap jewelry neatly: Wrap jewelry in straws, paper rolls or plastic bags and secure with kitchen foil. This prevents knotting and protects the jewelry.
  4. Pack books in suitcases: Transport books in wheeled suitcases to make these heavy items easier to move and easier on your back.
  5. Protect furniture with foil: Wrap dressers and sideboards in protective foil to keep doors and drawers closed and prevent scratches. The contents of the drawers can often remain inside, provided they are not fragile.

Our UTS team packs your furniture and personal belongings with great care. It is important to us that everything remains good and undamaged and that you will be satisfied. You can find more valuable tips on our website: With UTS, your belongings are in the best hands | UTS Germany
