Dubai is a major business and trade centre and therefore offers a wide range of employment opportunities in different industries. Here are some of the main industries that are currently in need of staff:

- Construction: Dubai has experienced rapid growth in recent years and there are still many projects in the construction, architecture and engineering sectors. There is a high demand for professionals such as civil engineers, architects, project managers and construction workers.
- Financial services: Dubai is a major financial centre and offers numerous employment opportunities in banking, insurance and financial advisory services.
- Healthcare: The healthcare sector in Dubai is growing rapidly and there is a high demand for professionals such as doctors, nurses, medical professionals and administrative staff.

In Dubai, the regular working week is usually 5 days, from Sunday to Thursday. Friday is the official weekend day in the UAE and Saturday is another day off for some industries or professions.
